What to Expect …

  • On enrolling you will join The Autoimmune Nutritionist’s client platform and be:

    • asked to complete a health history question and a symptom questionnaire,

    • invited to schedule your first session,

    • given access to the first week of educational videos and e-books.

  • Your first session will be 30 minutes with The Autoimmune Nutritionist to review your questionnaires, ensure you are comfortable with the learning platform, address any specific needs you may have regarding the programme.

    • You will begin tracking eating and lifestyle habits on a specially designed phone app.

  • There are five weeks of learning where you will eliminate inflammatory foods, introduce nutrients dense foods, and become aware of lifestyle practices which can positively and negatively impact on your on how your feel.

    • During this time there will be a weekly question and answer session with The Autoimmune Nutritionist.

  • At the end of these five weeks, you will have eliminated inflammatory foods.

  • You will have your second check in with The Autoimmune Nutritionist to ensure you are comfortable with the protocol before you start your 30 days in “elimination” phase.

  • At the end of the 30 days, you will complete a symptom questionnaire and have your final session with The Autoimmune Nutritionist.

    • During this session it will be determined if your body is ready to start reintroducing foods via a specific protocol, if you need to maintain the “elimination phase” for longer, or in the rarer cases take a deeper look into issues should this be required.

  • There will be a limit on the number who can enrol each week so that The Autoimmune Nutritionist can provide check-ins with all participants.

Who is The Autoimmune Nutritionist?

The Autoimmune Nutritionist, Sheryl Cook, is a certified Functional Nutrition & Lifestyle Practitioner, with specialist Autoimmune Paleo Coaching, and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, with a BSc(Hons) in Food Science. Sheryl has personally been in the position of being told by her GP that she had to live with her Hashimoto’s thyroiditis symptoms until her thyroid fails. Not prepared to live this way she found the power of Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle changes and retrained so she could support and educate women who find themselves in the same position. Sheryl thoroughly enjoys working with women who have decided a health diagnosis is not a not a dismal end but the beginning of getting their zest for life back.
